A Campaign Built to Compete and Leave the District Stronger

A FRESH APPROACH

Most campaigns focus on winning an election. This one focuses on what comes after—connecting what’s already working to make District 36 stronger.

Through my Three Bridges plan —County-to-County, Institution-to-Community, and Present-to-Future—we align education, workforce, healthcare, and housing.

I’m putting it into action with The 36: Building Our Bridges, a 90-day initiative uniting leaders, organizations, and residents across all four counties for measurable results.

By organizing across District 36, we are bringing leaders, organizations, and residents into action. This is about more than a campaign—it’s building lasting connections and coordinated systems.

Together, we are creating a network that strengthens civic participation, improves communication, and ensures the district moves forward stronger, more connected, and prepared for the future.

My Vision: Building bridges

County-to-County | Institution-to-Community | Present-to-Future

District 36 is strong—but its systems aren’t always connected. When we connect what’s already working, we make this district stronger.

By aligning counties, schools, businesses, and services, opportunities flow, growth is coordinated, and the next generation can live, work, and build a life here.

This isn’t about replacing what works—it’s about building forward with discipline, coordination, and follow-through.

Meet John Queen:

Community Leader, Youth Advocate, Systems Builder

I build bridges—connecting communities, schools, and local leaders across Maryland’s Eastern Shore. For over a decade, I’ve created programs that empower youth, strengthen schools, and unite organizations to deliver real, measurable results.

As proven bridge-builder, I turn vision into action aligning counties, institutions, and employers so today’s work builds tomorrow’s opportunities. I focus on practical solutions that create lasting impact, because progress happens when people work together, not in isolation.
